I had the incredible opportunity to travel through Vietnam this past September on a hosted experience — and it was truly one of the most diverse, immersive trips I’ve ever taken.
We began in Hanoi, exploring the Old Quarter, historic temples, Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, and learning the deep stories behind Vietnam’s past. From there we headed to the breathtaking Ninh Binh countryside, where we rode bamboo boats through limestone karsts, rice paddies, and quiet river caves—straight out of a postcard.
One of the highlights was cruising through Ha Long Bay overnight—kayaking emerald waters, exploring massive caves, watching sunset over towering limestone islands, and even trying squid fishing under the stars.
Next was charming Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage town filled with lanterns, markets, countryside biking, cooking classes, and peaceful river scenes—truly one of the most magical towns I’ve ever visited.
We continued north to Hue, home to ancient imperial citadels, royal tombs, and dragon boat rides along the Perfume River, before flying south to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, where history meets modern energy, including a powerful visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels.
We wrapped up in the lush Mekong Delta, cruising quiet waterways, visiting local villages, coconut workshops, and enjoying fresh riverside meals.
What I loved most?
- The warmth of the people
- The incredible food (every single day!)
- The mix of culture, nature, history, and relaxation
- How safe, welcoming, and easy it felt to travel
Vietnam is perfect for travelers who want:
- Culture + scenery
- Guided ease with authentic experiences
- Incredible value for what you get
- A destination that feels both adventurous and comfortable
If Vietnam has ever been on your bucket list, I can now confidently say it is AMAZING and absolutely worth doing.
And yes…I can help you plan it stress-free.
